Our Bed Dohars are a celebration of sustainability and artisanal craftsmanship, created from upcycled underprints sourced from Jaipur’s iconic woodblock printing tables. These underprints—originally intended as waste—carry intricate patterns and textures that bring depth and artistry to each piece. The quilt’s top layer is crafted from 100% cotton, with a 100% cotton pin-punched wadding 150 gsm for warmth and comfort. The backing is a custom, wide-width fabric made from a blend of 45% cotton and 55% linen, offering both durability and elegance.
Each Dohar is a unique creation, featuring its own arrangement of patterns and overlapping designs from the printing process. These distinctive characteristics lend an authentic charm, making each quilt as much a statement piece as it is functional. The vibrant tones, custom-dyed for our 2024 Khandela collection, bring a modern touch to the traditional Jaipur aesthetics, creating a fresh yet timeless look.
