Shipping
All orders are dispatched from Tauranga, New Zealand.
We aim to ship orders within 3 working days once payment has been received and confirmed.
Shipping Charges
Our Shipping Charges are as follows:
Order value $0 - $199.99
- $15 North Island ($19 if Rural North Island)
- $19 South Island ($24 if Rural South Island)
Order value $200+
- $22 North Island ($28 if Rural North Island)
- $28 South Island ($33 if Rural South Island)
Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel your order before it has been dispatched, please email us as soon as possible at dac@designalchemycollective.com
If a refund is issued before dispatch, the order value will be refunded minus any transaction or payment processing fees.
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, but you may return it under our returns policy below.
Design Alchemy Collective reserves the right to cancel any order at any time.
Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns or exchanges on full-price items purchased online within:
- 7 days of delivery (New Zealand)
- 14 days of delivery (international orders)
To request a return, please email dac@designalchemycollective.com within 3 days of receiving your order.
Returned items must be:
- Unused
- Unaltered and unwashed
- In original packaging
Once received and approved, we will arrange an exchange or refund.
Refunds will be issued as follows:
- Bank deposit payments: refund of the item value (freight excluded)
- Credit card / online payments: refund of the item value minus transaction fees and freight
Returns are typically processed within 10 working days, and we will email you once your return has been completed.

Items returned outside the return window will not be eligible for a refund, exchange, or replacement.
Please note: Sale items cannot be returned unless faulty.
Faulty Items
Every item is inspected before leaving our warehouse, but if something isn’t right, we will work with you to resolve it.
If you believe your item is faulty:
- Email dac@designalchemycollective.com
- Include your order details and a description (or photo) of the fault.
If the fault is confirmed, we will arrange an exchange, refund, or alternative product, and we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.
Items damaged due to normal wear and tear, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions cannot be treated as faulty.
Refunds will be issued to the original purchaser using the original payment method.
Handmade Products
Many Design Alchemy Collective products are handmade by artisans. Small variations and irregularities are part of their unique character.
