Anna and Amanda are New Zealand interior designers who went to India and never quite got over it.

Between them they have decades of experience designing spaces for clients who care about the difference between something beautiful and something meaningful. When they found the underprint fabric, the cloth that sits beneath the block printing, catching every drop of excess dye as it falls, they knew they had found something worth keeping.

Design Alchemy Collective is what happened next. Pieces made slowly, in small numbers, by people whose names they know. Quilts stitched by local artisans and finished in the villages outside Jaipur.

Not mass-produced. Not fast. Not replaceable.
