The underprint fabric is created through a unique technique where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month. The aged cotton beneath reveals unexpected patterns and soft, layered colours - each one entirely unrepeatable, a quiet record of the artisan's hand and the passage of time. Coloured with azo-free dyes and ethically handcrafted in India, designed in Aotearoa.
