Kantha Quilt - Eclipse / Citrine - One of a Kind

Created from upcycled underprints salvaged from Jaipur printing tables, Eclipse transforms what was once discarded into something entirely singular. The front is 100% cotton - a dense, layered kantha textile built up through years of traditional woodblock printing, its surface alive with a complex palette of dusty rose, terracotta, slate-blue, olive and muted purple. Large abstract circular forms float across the ground like celestial marks, each one a product of chance and accumulated ink. No two are ever the same.

The fill is 100% cotton pin-punched wadding. The backing is a custom wide-width blend of 45% cotton and 55% linen in Citrine - a warm yellow with green undertones, grounding the quilt with a bold, considered contrast. The entire piece is hand-stitched in the kantha tradition, the running stitch grid visible across the surface as a quiet testament to the craft.

By repurposing this waste material, we celebrate both sustainability and artistry - turning the overlooked into the extraordinary.
