This is a one-of-a-kind piece. The Sea Glass quilt is made from ink layers on underprint cotton - luminous aqua and mint greens washing across a near-white ground, scattered with small blue dots that catch the light like pebbles under shallow water. The pattern is dense and impressionistic, built up over 8 to 12 printings across a month, each layer adding depth and quiet complexity. The result feels like light on a calm sea at low tide - entirely unrepeatable.
Hand-stitched in the kantha tradition, the quilt is finished with a vivid fresh Moss Green binding and backing that grounds the piece with an earthy, botanical contrast. By giving new life to these richly worked underprint cottons, we honour traditional craft and tread a little lighter on the earth.
