Full Kantha Dohar Quilt - Ochre Rose / Citrine | One of a Kind

Worked entirely by hand, this quilt is stitched through layers using rows of running stitch drawn across the full surface - the defining mark of the kantha tradition. The front is an upcycled underprint in ochre, dusty rose, and warm sage, its layered botanical motifs the result of 8 to 12 rounds of hand woodblock printing across a month of production. No two printings land the same way twice; this piece is entirely unrepeatable. Edition of one. The edges are finished with a hand blanket stitch - a final act of craft that frames the whole cloth.

The reverse is a wide-width citrine linen-cotton blend - an acidic, green-toned yellow that sharpens the warmth of the front - with the kantha running stitch visible on both sides, tracing the same quiet rhythm across the cloth.
