This is a one-of-a-kind piece. Where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals the Secret Garden pattern - a dense diamond and fishnet grid in deep forest green overlays shifting washes of blue, grey, olive and warm sand, with fine horizontal stripe sections emerging at the lower edge. The effect is lush and textural, like looking through a garden trellis at something half-hidden beyond. Each is entirely unrepeatable.
The Moss Green linen-cotton backing echoes the deep forest tones of the front, grounding the piece with an earthy, botanical richness. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover, finished with quiet precision.
