This is a one-of-a-kind piece. Where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals the Saturated Stripe pattern - a dense, painterly explosion of forest green, olive, coral-red and amber-gold covering the left two-thirds of the surface in an all-over ground of extraordinary depth and complexity. Then, cutting through the centre, a bold vertical band of deep navy-blue and teal stripes - saturated, graphic, structural. To the right, a warm terracotta-orange stripe, then a pale cream ground with soft green botanical motifs - quieter, more delicate, like a toile seen through the same underprint veil. Garden, stripe border and botanical toile colliding in one entirely unrepeatable surface.

The Moss Green linen-cotton backing echoes the forest green of the dominant left ground, grounding the coral, navy and terracotta of the front with a deep, botanical richness. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover, finished with quiet precision.
