Limited edition of 2 - each one slightly different, none repeated. Where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals the Faded Lime pattern - a dense all-over field of soft circular floral forms in faded lime, sage and moss green, layered with dusty blue-grey and muted plum-mauve washes pooling between the motifs. Fine vertical stripe lines run through the cloth, giving quiet structure to the organic softness. Cool, muted and botanical - like lichen on stone, or a garden seen through frosted glass. Each is entirely unrepeatable.
The Moss Green linen-cotton backing echoes the botanical tones of the front, wrapping the piece in a deep, earthy green. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover, finished with quiet precision.
