This is a one-of-a-kind piece. Where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals the Emerald Veil 2 pattern - a pale cream ground crossed with horizontal rows of bold emerald green diamond and ogee forms, alternating with bands of vivid cerise-red floral scroll marks in rhythmic waves from edge to edge. Where Emerald Veil 1 dissolves and drifts, Veil 2 repeats and pulses - the lattice veil here is energetic and all-over, the green and cerise in equal, rhythmic dialogue across the whole surface. A fine vertical stripe runs through the centre, adding a quiet structural counterpoint. Each is entirely unrepeatable.

The Moss Green linen-cotton backing echoes the emerald tones of the lattice, grounding the cerise and cream of the front with a deep, botanical richness. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover, finished with quiet precision.
