This is a one-of-a-kind piece. Where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals the Electric Stripe 2 pattern - deep cobalt-blue and purple vertical stripes running the full length of the cover, with cascading hot pink and coral floral botanical motifs tumbling down through the stripes like flowers caught in a downpour. Flashes of soft green and cream surface through the layers, adding depth and light to the moody, electric ground. Every layer of the underprint process is visible and alive. There is only one.

The Jasper linen-cotton backing echoes the deep teal-green of the flange, grounding the electric cobalt and pink of the front with a cool, considered depth. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover on all four edges.
