This is a one-of-a-kind piece. Where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals the Coral Stripe pattern - a warm blush-coral and peach ground crossed with fine vertical stripe lines running edge to edge, scattered throughout with small emerald-green and teal floral and leaf marks. Flashes of soft lavender and deeper indigo drift through the warm ground, adding unexpected cool depth to the glowing coral surface. Soft, impressionistic and entirely unrepeatable - like a coral garden seen through a gauze veil.

The Blue Iris linen-cotton backing echoes the cool lavender and indigo tones drifting through the front, grounding the warm coral with a deep, considered cool. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover, finished with quiet precision.
