Where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals the Coral Bloom 4 pattern - warm coral, soft orange and blush tones building across the surface in the layered, painterly way that only this process can create. Each in the edition carries the same spirit but its own unique marks, tones and story. Each is entirely unrepeatable.
The Blue Iris linen-cotton backing provides a deep, denim-toned counterpoint to the warm coral and blush of the front - grounding the warmth with a moody, considered cool. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover, finished with quiet precision.
