Where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals the Copper Rain pattern - a rich, glowing ground of copper-bronze and amber, with washes of burnt orange and golden ochre shifting across the cloth. Scattered across the entire surface, sharp blue-teal sprig and leaf motifs in crisp dark outline fall like rain through the warm ground - botanical and precise against the painterly warmth beneath. A soft teal-green pool sits quietly at the centre. Each is entirely unrepeatable.

The Blue Iris linen-cotton backing echoes the cool blue-teal of the sprig motifs, creating a beautiful tension with the warm copper of the front. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover, finished with quiet precision.
