Limited edition of 2 - each one slightly different, none repeated. Where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals the Blue Mood pattern - a deep teal-blue and slate ground divided into two distinct moods. The left half is a complex, layered wash of pale teal, grey-blue and soft white, with scattered flashes of coral-red and rust breaking through like old fresco beneath plaster - weathered, textured, alive. The right half shifts to a bold, deep indigo-teal vertical stripe, darker and more saturated, almost solid - like deep water beside a weathered wall. Fine vertical stripe lines run through the entire surface, holding the two halves in quiet dialogue. Each in the edition carries the same spirit but its own unique marks and story. Each is entirely unrepeatable.
The Blue Iris linen-cotton backing deepens the indigo-teal of the right half, creating a tonal, immersive composition from front to back. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover, finished with quiet precision.
