Created through a unique underprint technique where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton front reveals unexpected patterns and soft, layered colour - each one entirely unrepeatable. This piece carries the Bamboo Forest pattern: tall vertical stalks rise across the surface in deep forest green, sage, and pale cream, the accumulated layers of ink creating a painterly, immersive depth. Only two exist.
The backing is crafted in a deep moss linen-cotton blend with a 1cm flat flange, giving the cover a clean, considered edge.
